Service is always professional and great. Continuing services every year is very easy. I have been a customer of Lawn Doctor for years because of their professional quality work and courteous attitude towards the customer. They are always right there to do the basic essential services and keep an eye out for any emerging problem and suggest a treatment for it. They keep you informed of all work being done and any additional services that might be helpful for the lawn. From Sally to the techs they’re always pleasant to work with. Reliable, respectful, reasonable and non-intrusive. We've used Lawn Doctor (BG) to do seasonal weed and feed service for our home's lawn for about 5 years now. They're in and out when we're not even there and leave behind a flag so we know the lawn has been treated, as well as a flyer in the door which tells us how long we should stay off it (a couple hours usually covers it), what the treatment was, and any recommendations. Very few weeds pop up (between treatments) and the grass is pretty healthy. Grass coverage in the center of our front lawn is barely passable, but that's due to a huge tree which doesn't let light in. We've also had them aerate the soil (pull up plugs) a few times. The cost is reasonable. I'm very happy that they limit advertising, basically offering a few services that may make sense for you, as opposed to sending a bunch of e-mail, snailmail, or flyers. ~ MyWavyHair

I echo all the other comments and there is a reason why this company presently has 4.9 out 5.0 stars on Google. The customer service is simply world class. Sallie Winfrey is amazing as she listens to the customer's needs and is very responsive as she genuinely cares about each customer. I have used other services and companies in the past that have brushed me off as a 'high maintenance' client. Green, Thick and Beautiful grass. I started using Lawn Doctor of Buffalo Grove- Lake Zurich about 5 years ago. Before my grass was brown in areas and just not great to look at. Within the first year of having Lawn Doctor come to my house, my yard changed. It was full of life. It was green. It was growing. I love to hear my neighbors say how beautiful it looks and how they wish their grass looked like mine. I have been using this Lawn Doctor for about 5 years or more now. I love that they have a prepayment plan with a 10% discount if you pay for the entire year up front. I really like not having a bill every time service is completed. In addition, Sally has been wonderful to work with over the years. She will always put together a plan that makes sense for your lawn care needs. If you need to adjust at any point, she is always helpful with that as well. I am using Lawn Doctor for weed control. They may have also done some grass seeding and pest control, but I just don't remember. Anyway, our lawn is much better in their care then it was with our lawn service or a competitor of theirs. Our lawn service was less expensive, but we got what we paid for, which was not as nice a lawn. Our lawn with Lawn Doctor has always looked great with limited weeds and while more money than our lawn service, definitely worth the additional cost. I would definitely recommend them and will continue to use them. ~ Scott C

I like that they are available anytime and are so warm and personable, and care very much about not only the lawns they service, but also make sure that homeowners are aware of what is going on with treatments and recommendations. I’ve been using Lawn Doctor for 8 years now. Service is reasonably priced and they are very attentive to our lawn needs. Technicians are very knowledgeable and Sally was very helpful with account questions and services. I’ve used a couple other nationally owned companies in the past and was charged more for way less service. It’s nice they’re local and just a phone call away if we need anything. 2020 was our initial year with Lawn Doctor and we are completely rewarded with this decision. At the end of this season our lawn is very Green and extreemly healthy in appearance. Lawns on either side of us just do not compete, even with another service. As well, office follow up was excellent and the advise very helpful, never pushing for any irrelevant needs. We have been using Lawn Doctor for a couple of seasons now and are very satisfied. I have saved some money over the previous service without sacrificing service. Our lawn has noticably improved. We also used their mosquito control program and I don't think I had a single bite in my yard all year. They are very responsive with their customer service as well. Lawn Doctor did aeration and several applications on my lawn. They did everything they promised at a fair price. Chose them due to a discussion with owner after talking with a service person working in neighborhood. Both were extremely honest and cared for the lawns they were servicing. I have been really pleased with the service I get from Lawn Doctor. They do a good job. What I really like is they use equipment that gets the treatment precisely down on the lawn, instead of just walking around with a sprayer and getting stuff everywhere. The Lawn Doctor was recommended by my neighbor. I have been applying my own fertilizer but never could get rid of the weeds. I used other services in the past even catching one service just putting the flag in the lawn without applying the fertilizer. The Lawn Doctor did a great job my lawn has never looked so good.
